@markstoneman The people in that area were really friendly. A couple saw us crossing a road about five miles north of there. They offered to meet us at the end of the day and buy us dinner - which they did.

@numericcitizen I agree. I gave Claude 170 URLs this morning and told it to scrape them and create Markdown notes in my Obsidian vault. Not only did it do that, it volunteered to get copies from The Internet Archive for the pay walled sites.

@antonzuiker I love random animal encounters. I met a lady hiking with a llama in Connecticut beside the Housatonic River. There’s a house in Fayetteville I walk by sometimesthat has a chimp living in their garage. He has his own TV.
